For players

Track your own training, ask the AI useful questions, and share what you choose with the coach you trust. Most days the app should not need to bother you.

You're an athlete. Avelok is meant to make a few specific things easier: remembering what you actually did this week, getting a quick answer when something feels off, and not losing your context every time you switch coach or club.

The smallest useful loop

  1. Log a session in 30 seconds

After training, open Avelok in WeChat and tap Quick log. Dictate three sentences: what you did, how it felt, what surprised you. Voice works in English, Mandarin, Cantonese-flavoured Chinese, and French.

  2. Ask the AI later, when you have a question

Don't ask the AI every day. Ask it when you actually want an answer: "My forehand felt heavy tonight, what changed?" or "I haven't trained in 5 days, how do I come back gently?"

  3. Read the weekly summary, ignore the rest

Sunday evening you'll see a 4-line "week in review" on your home tab. It's the only push notification we send by default.

What you can ask the AI

The AI has read your memory (sessions you logged, summaries from your coach if you have one, your stated goals) and can answer questions about you specifically, not generic sports advice.

Good questions:

  • "Did anything change in my serve over the last 3 sessions?"
  • "I have a match Saturday. What should this week's training look like?"
  • "I've been waking up sore. Is the volume too high?"
  • "Plan a 25-minute solo session for tonight."

Bad questions (the AI will tell you it can't help):

  • "What's the best paddle for me?" — equipment choice needs a human who's seen you play
  • "Do I have potential?" — not a useful question for any AI to answer
  • "Diagnose this knee pain." — see a physio, not a chat app

What you control

Who sees what

Settings → My team. Add or remove a coach, parent, or club. Each share has 3 depth levels — pick the one you're comfortable with.

What the AI remembers

Settings → Memory. Three tabs: confirmed (you or your coach said it), drafts (AI guessed it), archived (older than 14 days, no longer affects answers).

Notification volume

Settings → Quiet. Default is one weekly summary on Sunday. You can add session reminders or turn even the weekly off.

Export and delete

Settings → Data. Export all your sessions and summaries as a single PDF or JSON file. Delete the account (and every coach's view of it) in one tap.

A note on streaks

Avelok has no streaks, no XP, no daily-login rewards, no leaderboards. We deliberately removed those.

The reason: streak-based products work for habits where consistency is the goal (language learning, meditation). Sport is different — sometimes the right thing is to rest for 5 days, and a streak counter would be telling you to log a fake session to keep your number alive. We'd rather you didn't open the app.
